It’s no doubt that everyone has to die but it depends that how one dies. Suicide is not a natural process of death but it is the choice of the one to murder himself. People commit suicide after getting depressed and cannot tolerate the problems of their lives and quit to continue their lives. There could be many reasons to commit suicide. I have discussed Top 10 Countries With Highest Suicide Rate In 2020 which are as follows:
Slovenia is a populated country but the death rate is very high. Of two hundred million people 400 people die every year by committing suicide. In short, 21.8 suicides occur per hundred thousand citizens. People commit suicide there because they have to suffer the economic problems and they want to get rid of their poverty. Some of the people are addicted to alcohol which is also the main reason of their suicide.
China is the most populated country. Both men and women have to work day and night for their survival and the there is dreadful work to be done in the factories due to which most women commit suicide. Hence, women suicide rate is higher in the country rather than male suicide rate. You can say that in China 22.2 suicides occur per hundred thousand persons. Suicides are committed by them due to the heavy pressure and stress on their minds by the materialistic society. It is surprising that suicides are so common here that parties are conducted and people gathers to suggest different ways to the person who want to commit suicide.
It is surprising to know that in Latvia suicide rate is very high although the country is independent but due to corrupt government and its illegal ways of making money, most of the people gets frustrated and the only way they find is to leave this world and commit suicide. The country has not yet come out of the bad effects of state ownership that is communism so, people find death an easy way to quit these pathetic problems. Women commit suicide as they are don’t get equal rights to live.
It is astonishing to tell that Japan being a developed country has a high rate of suicides as 23.8 persons commit suicide per 100,000 persons every year. There are three main reasons for the committal of suicide and those are unemployment; being jobless is a big tension as one cannot fulfill the responsibilities without money which is acquired by the job, so, many people prefer to leave this materialistic world by committing suicide, depression of money is also a big problem and stress put on the one by the society is also a hitch which creates pressure on one’s mind and one is forced to commit suicide. In Japan, suicides are committed mostly in the forest area. Aokigahara is the place where most suicides occur in Japan.
Hungary has the high suicide rate of 24.6 per hundred thousand citizens yearly. People commit suicide due to alcohol ingestion. As, due to alcohol addiction they cannot fulfill their responsibilities properly due to which they feel guilty and don’t have the capability of facing their families and neither find an escape from the alcohol then they find suicide an easy way to remove all these tensions. In fact, these people find themselves helpless as it is harmful for the death. Women commit more suicide in the country rather than men.
Although Belarus is an independent country but has the strong relationship with Russia. Its president namely; Alexander Lukashenko had persued policies of Soviet-era against the people’s choice. By appalling his opponents, the president remained in power and continued harassing the people of Belarus. So, to save themselves from such harassments and fears people commit suicide. Suicide rate is also high there due to the societal strain and depression. Hence 25.3 suicide are committed per 100,000 citizens in Belarus.
In 1991, this country has got independence from the Soviet Union. Its economic progress had been halted due to the recession. Lack of money is the main reason which cause a great stress in the brains of people due to which they commit suicide as they become hopeless. So, in the country may this be the important reason of suicides. In Kazakhstan 25.6 suicide occurs per hundred thousand persons. Usually youngsters commit suicide in the country including both girls and boys because they are not contented for what they have. They get depressed of small things and want a escape which they find in committing suicide. Although an Islamic country but the rate of natural death is lower. So, government should be aware of this.
Guyana is another country where the rate of committing suicide is higher among the young people between the ages of 15 to 24 years which is really a shocking news as people of this age are mostly enthusiastic for their future lives and want to do something for themselves and their parents to gain the respect in the society. 26.4 citizens commit suicide per 100,000 persons. The dominant reasons of suicide in the country are depression and home discord. As, some of people are weak to tolerate any pressure or are unable to handle different disputes so, they take their lives by themselves. Now a days government of Guyana is trying to take measures to control suicide rate. Police is also active to sort out and stop this pathetic problem.
2. South Korea
In South Korea 31.2 citizens commit suicide per 100,000 citizens each year. The suicide rate in South Korea has been increased twice from the last 10 years. Most of the known personalities has taken their lives for the relaxation of their mind which include president of South Korea, many singers, players and millionaires. Although its economy is growing but even then rate of suicide is high mainly due to the depression which is a miserable problem and force people to commit suicide.
Although it is an independent country and the economy is rising day by day but the suicide rate is alarmingly highest among all the countries. As, 34.1 citizens of Lithuania commits suicide per hundred thousand citizens. No main reason has been revealed for the suicide rate but most of the people commit suicide due to the inner disturbance of their minds as they may not be satisfied with what is going around them. The government is not taking steps to eradicate the suicide rate like if somebody is hospitalized for the attempt of committing suicide ,after being treated the one is released without investigation or punishment. In short, the ignorance is the main reason which is increasing the rate of suicides. So, the government of Lithuania has to take care of this problem.
